An ultrasound-guided procedure for treating tendon calcifications, particularly in the shoulder's rotator cuff. Through a needle, the calcific deposit is fragmented and aspirated directly in the office, eliminating the calcium deposit responsible for the pain without resorting to surgery.

Joint capsule hydrodistension

An ultrasound-guided treatment for adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder (frozen shoulder). A controlled volume of saline solution is injected into the capsular space under ultrasound guidance, distending the retracted capsule and progressively restoring the compromised joint mobility.

A precision procedure for treating peripheral nerve compressions — such as carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, or entrapment neuropathies. Ultrasound-guided lumbar facet joint injection

An ultrasound-guided procedure for treating low back pain of zygapophyseal origin. Under real-time ultrasound guidance, a locally acting corticosteroid is injected near the lumbar facet joints — the small posterior joints of the spine often involved in osteoarthritis, spondylosis, and chronic low back pain. The procedure reduces local inflammation and pain in a targeted manner, with a rapid and lasting effect, without resorting to more invasive techniques.

I am a physician specialized in physical and rehabilitative medicine, with advanced training in musculoskeletal ultrasound — an integration that allows me to examine, diagnose, and treat within the same appointment.

In my daily practice I aim to combine diagnostic precision with targeted, personalized treatments: from ultrasound-guided injection therapy to shockwave therapy, from ozone therapy to regenerative medicine. I have specific training in manual medicine and fascial manipulation, and pursue continuous education in interventional ultrasound.

The first physiatric consultation includes an in-depth discussion of your medical history, a physical examination, and, when indicated, a musculoskeletal ultrasound performed directly in the office. At the end you'll receive a diagnosis and a personalized treatment plan.

A session lasts about 15-20 minutes. The standard cycle involves 3-5 sessions on a weekly basis. After treatment you can resume your normal daily activities.
